Damang Gold Mine Airport Project Estimated to Cost at Least US$80 Million

On 23 October, Ghanaian media reported that the planned airport serving Damang Gold Mine in the Western Region was expected to cost at least US$80 million across two development phases. The estimate includes initial site preparation and the infrastructure, facilities and electrical equipment required to bring the airstrip into operation; it is a projected project cost rather than a completed construction award, and HPC can support project reporting, asset-data systems and financial modelling.
