Riyadh Metro Train Procurement Contracts Reach SAR 5.5 Billion

The Royal Commission for Riyadh City signed contracts worth approximately SAR 5.5 billion, equivalent to around $1.5 billion, for 94 additional metro trains from Siemens and Alstom. Deliveries are expected to begin in phases in 2028, expanding the planned fleet from 183 to 277 trains.
