Commercial Coffee-Waste Recycling and Sustainable Farming Projects Expand

Agricultural investors in Sidama and Oromia are exploring projects worth $175,000 to establish coffee-waste processing facilities, produce organic fertilisers and introduce water-efficient irrigation systems. Ethiopia generated approximately $3 billion in coffee export earnings during the 2025–26 fiscal year, strengthening the commercial importance of sustainable coffee production.
